Fibox has recently celebrated 30 years as a designer and manufacturer of thermo-plastic enclosures for use in hostile and hazardous environments.
The privately-owned Finnish company started life in 1966, pioneering injection molded polycarbonate enclosure technology in the electrical control panel industry.
Since then, the range of products has increased to over 450 different sizes, in 17 designs and six material, including die-cast aluminium.
Fibox enclosures are manufactured in modern factories located in the Helsinki, Finland metropolitan area and in Incheon, the Republic of Korea.
In the Fibox enclosure range there are over 450 different standard enclosures made of polycarbonate, ABS, polyester and aluminium.
These standard enclosures can be modified to customers' specific needs thanks to changeable mould parts or by coloring the raw material.
As part of Fibox Group's drive to offer complete quality, the company was awarded ISO 9001 quality assurance status in 1991, the first enclosure company to receive such recognition.
And FIBOX LTD. was awarded ISO 2000 certificate in 2003.
The company employs more than fifty, including 28 production staffs. Our total annual sales are US$6,000,000, 50% of which comes from our exported products.
